Paramount - the name behind the brand
Paramount Safety Products was founded by Managing Director Rob Bird in 1992 and now employs 40 people with an extensive distribution network and has offices and distribution warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
Milestones
| 1992 | Paramount Safety Products commenced operations laundering and recycling gloves for industrial use. |
| 1994 | moved into supplying new gloves and other PPE products |
| 1998 | Opened Melbourne office/warehouse |
| 2001 | Opened in Sydney |
| 2002 | Opened in Brisbane |
| 2004 | launched ProChoice range of Safety Gear with new branding and packaging. |
| 2005 | Won WA Institute of Marketing Award for new branding and packaging |
| 2005 | Unveiled new catalogue and web site |
| 2005 | Moved into new premises in Balcatta WA |
| 2006 | Entrepenuer of the Year award – Rob Bird, Regional Finalist |
| 2008 | Moved into new purpose built premises in Loganholme Qld |

Throughout the life of Paramount Safety Products the range of safety products marketed under the ProChoice name has grown rapidly to include not only the expanding range of PPE, but sunscreen, hazardand road barriers , product printing services and many more.
Representatives now service South Australia, Far North Queensland and Northern Western Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
